Winderen Thermo Silver training wraps provide excellent protection to your horse's legs. They are extremely soft, thin and fit easily to the leg, preventing painful pressure points. Their five-layer structure provides unique protective and thermoregulatory benefits to protect your horse's legs during training.
Leg wraps are popular during training, especially in dressage. Some riders prefer to wrap their horse’s legs instead of using tendon boots to protect them from impacts over a larger area as well as to provide additional support for the fetlocks, tendons, and ligaments. In addition to offering protection, wrapping the legs improves blood circulation, accelerates lymph absorption, and reduces swelling that may appear as a result of overloading during training.
During riding, a warm environment is created under the wraps. In winter this helps the joints and tendons warm up more quickly, but in warm weather they may become overheated.
