• Effective moisture wicking
• Highly resistant to odours
Merino wool is obtained from the fleece of a unique breed of sheep – merino, one of the oldest and largest in the world. Originally from Asia, merino sheep are now also commonly found in New Zealand and Australia. Due to the extreme, changing weather conditions in which merino live on a daily basis, they have adapted to comfortably withstand temperatures from -20 to + 40 °C. And they owe it all to their unique wool!

Excellent thermoregulation
Merino wool stores air in its fibres, allowing it to effectively regulate body temperature. In cool conditions, the fibres trap air, insulating body heat. On warm days, excess heat in the form of sweat is wicked away, thus preventing overheating.
Effective moisture wicking
Merino wool's porous wool fibres transport sweat and moisture away from the skin and discharge it as vapour. This prevents excessive heat build-up, which is especially important on cold days.

Softness and elasticity
Merino wool's soft and elastic fibres won't irritate the skin, making it very comfortable to wear in all kinds of weather.
Highly resistant to odours
Merino wool is naturally resistant to the absorption of odours from the environment and from perspiration, thus providing additional protection for the skin, especially in the stable.
